Enough strength to equip a piece or two of strength-based armor can be a worthwhile investment, but beyond that it's better to invest in Intelligence and use Uncanny Evasion/Evasive Aura to avoid taking physical damage altogether. A melee mage is absolutely playable, but should always be using a staff keyed to whichever element you favor (my suggestion would be Aero, since several of its best spells are bursts centered on you). Vendor Prices, Bartering & Attitude Formulaįor a battlemage physical weapons are a bad idea.
